Nicky Heath founded Yeleni Therapy & Support (reg no 1118969) on 1st June 2010. Inspired by her sister-in-law’s positive experience with cancer support centres and her own work as a therapist, including seven years at Breast Cancer Haven in Hereford. Nicky saw the benefits of complementary therapies for people with cancer. She also provided effective support to children with cancer, noting improvements in their wellbeing and relief from treatment side effects. Motivated to help more people in Hereford, Nicky and a team of therapists trained at the Penny Brohn Cancer Centre before establishing Yeleni Therapy & Support. The centre offers free complementary therapies, self-help groups, classes, and workshops to support anyone affected by cancer.
